As I toil with the latest chapter of one of my stories, I am safe in the knowledge that Gabi will do a great editing job for me.
Whilst I have other things on my mind at the moment, she has stepped up and helped by sometimes trying to read my mind and then changing things that need changing to make the story more readable.
Then she has published the chapters on my behalf and generally looked after my interests while I am away or not able to access the internet.
This is a heartfelt thanks to Gabi and my appreciation for all her efforts, she is truly a super editor!

Big hug for the Gabmiester

Gabi's a wonderful person!
Well, as far as I can tell, not having ever met her in person. I've also benefited from her editing and encouragement.
It's nice to see her contributions acknowledged.

Eau dear!
Am I the only one who has met this legendary editor? Well think Tina Brown on steroids, and that should give you some idea.

Am I missing something?
Just WHO is Tina Brown?
Maybe you should WATER DOWN your compliments, y'all are making “little me†blush. :)
Thanks for the bouquet, but actually I just like to see good grammar and punctuation.

Is this any help?
If the link works?

Probably
the best woman editor on the planet, see the link above. Most 'Mericans are more afraid of her than Bin Laden.

Not bad
... for a woman I think in her fifties - late I think.
I will double check.

Oh Wow, Puddin’, I wish…
…I wish, I wish I could look like that, except my eyes are kinder than hers. But to do what Tina has done one needs to be pretty ruthless—like Nancy B, maybe?

Yes... she's great!
Gabi is very easy to work with and always timely. She's done wonders for my little contribution to the community. Thanks Gabi! The readers should thank you also because you make their reading experience much better than it would be if you didn't lend a hand (pen? keyboard? whatever...)

I'll Drink To That
And while I'm toasting Gabi (note: as in raise a glass, not roasting over an open fire) I will also praise Sue, who has kept on keeping us entertained while real life has been treating her quite badly. May all that change for the better very soon,
Hugs to both of you,
Joanne
I would like to take Sue & Gabi out to lunch!
Next week or so in Yandina, Queensland, Australia.
The Spirit House!
http://www.spirithouse.com.au/restaurant
Situated in the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast
famous for beaches and a laid back lifestyle!
The best Thai food in the Southern Hemisphere
On a lake, with geese, ducks, water dragons, and individual booths around the lake for discrete diners.
The entrance wanders for a 100 meters through a bamboo forest with statues of goddesses and gods, fish ponds, and at night candles are lit to enhance the atmosphere.
The restaurant has its own hydroponic herb farm and supplies the majority of restaurants in the S.E. QLD AREA.
Within a 15 Klm drive is Mt Nindery which has a number of top class B&B's beautifully appointed and with 50 Klm views down the Nambour Valley.
I'll pay for the meal! You look after Accom & Flights?
LoL

Ps. This is not an ad, just a place I love to go!

Why not, girls?
I think you should go. It would make a lovely afternoon.
Providing you can travel hypersonic :)

Mmm!
Looks a lovely place Rita. Wish I could go.
A few problems though, 1. I hate flying, 2. The ship would take too long and anyway who would feed my cats and dog while I was away? 3. My business would go bust, 4. I'm not sure you could handle yet another pom, while we paste you at cricket.
Other than that, I would love to go. Gabi, well thats different. I picture Super Gabi, flying through the air with graceful ease and getting there in time for supper.
Hugs
Sue
Thanks, Reet…
If only I could. *sigh* What a fantastic restaurant and the menu looks amazing. If I had the sort of money Tina Brown earns, I would be leaping on the next "Quaint-arse" flight—oh, yes and if I wasn't so arthritic to enable me to leap.
Lovely thought, though. Thanks for a delightful dream.
Hugs,
Gabi.
PS. One small edit to your script. Do you really mean disCRETE meaning separate, or disCREET meaning unobtrusive? While both are appropriate, I suggest “discreet†might be more appropriate for a cosy dinner à trois.
Gabi.

Been there, done that, several times in fact. Yes, Rita, lovely setting, lovely food. Well worth a puffpiece, and while we're in Yandina don't forget The Ginger Factory, a million ways to present ginger (but not our very own Ginger Collins)
