Got on the bus at 6AM, slept most of the way. Spent a thoroughly awful time getting my breathing tested, blood draw, endo consult, blah, blah, blah. Rained most all day.
The surprise came when I got back on the bus to go home. I sat down, glanced at the other riders, and noticed that one of them had a very familiar looking book he was reading. I got up, got closer and saw that it was HEADLIGHTS GIRL, by ME!
I introduced myself and he got this dazed look on his face, and then he asked me to autograph the book, in a most enthused way! Well, of course I did, feeling very pleased with myself. LOL
We got off the bus and walked to a spot where we could talk without interruption, and he told me how much he was enjoying the book, and complimented me on it, and on my courage and my presentation as a female!
I asked him, in a roundabout way of course, if he was TG and he simply said no, but that he had picked up the book because of the cover art, and the back page blurb! Thank you Erin!!!
This experience changed what was a dull, boring, irritating day, into one filled with sunshine for me. Knowing I have at least one fan who isn't TG, somehow legitimizes the simple fact that, apparently, I CAN write...and I made a new friend.
Hugs 'n love,

Wow! That's great!
I've had some other compliments on the book design but there's nothing like feedback from the marketplace. :)
Congratulations and thank you for the props. :)
Here's what the cover looks like and what the blurb says with a link to the book on Lulu. :)
