I just need help with spelling, punctuation, homonyms and verb tense; oh and fingers that won't hit the keys in the right order. Aside from that I'm a very competent writer and need no help at all.

I spent in an environment where nearly everybody working for me was writing English as a second language. They would come to me to proof-read correspondence that was going "outside". As long as I could read it and it made sense I would approve their efforts with as little correction as possible. They were trying hard and I didn't want to suppress their thoughts.
I treat posts here with the same approach. If I can read it and it conveys the meaning that the author intends then I ignore most grammatical and spelling errors. After all, not everybody reaches the same level of literacy and what is posted here is free and for entertainment.
Enjoyment should be the main criterion, and if you wish to criticize or educate then do it in PMs. In most cases the author will thank you, although there have been a few times when I've been told to make love elsewhere.
