This is how I mentally imagine Kim to look like and act like while drumming. I will never see those scenes of Kimmie waking up each morning to a red bull and drumming to Rush's Tom Sawyer the same way again.

I am re-reading Bailey's masterpiece Jem and maybe YouTube is too smart for its own good, but it recommended me a reaction to the above video. It is 4yo and shows a then-23yo (tho she looked 13) Japanese heavy metal drummer with bangs and pigtails and over the top smiles and enjoyment while drumming very fast and very technically. That lead me down a rabbit hole. How have I never heard of the Japanese 'Girl Metal' scene before?!

FYI: chapter 128 of Jem seems to be missing from the site. I had to go to way back machine to read it.
