So, for any of you out there who remember my far too wordy musically indulgent story, No Half Measures, and who wonder what Cara Malone on piano might have sounded like, if you are bored and have nothing else to do, then you could check out a little video of Cara's muse - aka Jenny - having a go on the ivories. In my defence, I find it impossible to walk past a grand piano without taking the opportunity to have a go on it. Doesn't everybody feel like that? No, OK, back away slowly - yep, girl crazy! Anyhow, if you want to hear what Cara could have been like, have a look at: There is another video where I 'try' to sing also while playing and it becomes abundantly clear that I am *not* Cara. Will take a LOT of persuasion to think of posting that one.

That is exactly what I imagined Cara Malone to look like a few years later when she had the good sense to change her hair a bit.

You are a wonder of multiple talents! I just wanted to tell you as an unabashed fangirl, you made me want to write. No Half Measures seared my mind with images and themes that compelled me to hunker over a hot keyboard and type out my own scribblings, however much they may pale before your wonderful novels. My hope is that you will honor your readers with more heart-wrenching narratives in the near future. It has been much too long since your last novel, True Calling.

And I regularly re-read everyone of your books in the hopes that I will someday find another one popping up to purchase.
Chasing Hope has been my favorite since the first time I read it, but simply saying that it is my favorite is not enough. They are all favorites of mine, and the only problem with your writing is that there is not more of it.
I was very happy to know that we share a love of music, although you are admittedly better on the ivories than I. Like you, I find it hard to walk by a piano without indulging myself, but I will readily state that I am better on the flute and saxophone than I am on the piano, lol. My music teacher in school introduced me to the flute when he realized that I was getting bored playing the sax one day - and I fell in love with it. He was also the one who got me started on the piano; unfortunately, he retired and I graduated from high school before I truly had a chance to become proficient on the piano, but he did leave me with a love of playing it.
If your tour of the US brings you anywhere near to upstate NY or eastern PA, please let me know - I would love to meet you and have a chance to discuss your writing.
