Having recently reached my 65th annual celebration of life, I have decided to retire ...
the name ...
Holly Logan.
I will still be here and available to my regulars for editing, just under an old new name.
From now on I will use the name of my younger alter-ego, ( See Maggie the Kitten's TGIF, posted here ), Holly H Hart both for editing and for writing.
I will still check the Holly Logan inbox for private messages, but may do so less and less often.
As my transition creeps forward, all three of my outside emails will also still work, but my Holly H Hart address will now be my default primary address, and all emails to my other two addresses will auto forward to Holly Hart.

Happy, happy Birthday, honey.
May this be just one of many to come. Without you, I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am now, and you know I love ya, as do many, many others.
So remember...Carpe Diem=Seize the Day, so Carpe Cakem = SEIZE THE CAKE!
Great big Birthday huggles from

As a T-woman, I do have a Y chromosome... it's just in cursive, pink script.
This year it was
Carpe Cherry Pie'em

Happy Happy!
We have to show the young ones how it's done!
Hugs,

Ummmm
How IS it done?
From one that's not as young as she used to be... Though, she tries, sometimes...
As one of the fortunate
who benefits from your talents, I wish you a very happy birthday! Since I'm a victim of pop culture, Logan makes me think of that comic book fellow with the long claws sticking from his knuckles. (Wolverine's alterego) Triple H, Holly Happy Hart is a much happier sounding name! :) (I won't mention the wrestler, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, if you don't. Shhhhh!)
Remember today you can eat all the cake and ice cream you want and not gain a pound! :)
hugs!

Recently did not mean that yesterday was the day.
Actually, my 65th trip around Sol ended Monday.
But yesterday was such a good day that I decided to make the move with the name change here, and in my emails, but it was a plan I'd been thinking about for some time.

Holly......
Hey dear Holly,
I wish for you all the best, now and always. The milestone you passed, whether one step past or a dozen, is well passed. Congrats hon.
I hope you are around for many more.
Thank you for being such a constant for peace and reason in an arena that isn't always peaceful.
with love,

You'd calculate how much of a galactic year it has been. That would make you much less than one GY old.
They know they can survive
Happy Birthday, Holly
Funny how 65 doesn't sound as old as it used to. Well I still have a few jogs about our local G2 yellow dwarf before I can claim Social Security, but I can still appreciate the magnitude of your achievement.
May you know many more birthdays, and be laid to rest in a casket made from a 100 year-old oak tree grown from an acorn I plant this afternoon.
Have a good retirement
Hi
Deciding when to stop working must be a hard choice, on top of the other hard choice of transition. I wish you much happiness in both of your endeavours.
Hugs

The cake is on me
Happy Belated Birthday Huggles to Holly
The world has been a better place for 65 years because you have been in it, and my life has been better since the day I met you.
You're a first class lady with a lot of heart, Miss Hart.
Thanks for all that you have done for me as an editor, as an auntie and as a friend.
The cake is on me, literally ...
giggles and love Maggie the Kitten
