I read a story awhile ago and I can't find it. I actually made this accout to try to find it, so sorry if I made this post wrong. The story was first person, about a guy in a band (maybe his name was Dan?) and the band was struggleing. They some how got a demon or genie or something to help them and she agreed to be the band manager. She decided the band needed a girl so she turned the main character.
Sorry for the lack of details, but thats why it is so hard to find. Thanks in advance.

Both BCTS and https://www.tgstorytime.com/search.php have search functions; both may need a lot of 'fiddling' to get the criteria right - and not get 'flooded'. I think TGS has 'magic' as one of the search keys.

I know the story you mentioned, but I can't remember the name either. The main character gets changed into a girl by a genie who i think is named Jezabel, and becomes the band's manager. They also say without him being a girl, there is no band.

It is not the Siderous Prophecy which gave me some nostalgia vibes since I haven't read that story in years.
