What the heck was that movie called?

Okay, this is as good a place as any to ask. I've been wracking my brain trying to remember the name of this movie because it's a really good example, to my mind, of what makes not just a good transgender story, but a good story in general. I'm hoping someone here has seen it and can tell me the title.

I haven't seen it in ages. It definitely came out in either the 90s or early 2000-2001 era. The basic premise is, as best I can remember, the main character, a chauvenistic jerk, gets himself killed, and God gives him one more chance. He has to find one female who will love him absolutely unconditionally for who he is. The catch is, he has to do so in a female body.

He has to learn, often the hard way, everything there is to know about being a woman, enlisting the aid of his ex-wife. He grows, changes, becomes a better person for his experience, and at the end, after being ... "forced upon" by the man who was once his best buddy when he was still physically a man, he gets pregnant and has a little girl, and realizes that he fulfilled God's challenge, that the little girl loves him, now her, unconditionally.

To quote my favorite survival horror movie, "Mother is God in the eyes of a child" :)

So, does this ring any bells with anyone? It was a really interesting movie that I'd love to watch again.
