If you're interested in the Sega CD's library and want to take a swim, don't buy the Genesis Mini 2.

A few months ago Sega announced that another mini-PNP console would be released, the "Mega Drive Mini 2". It looked to be released only in Japan then a month ago they also announced the release of the Genesis Mni 2.
Today both full game lists were finally released and while the Mega Drive Mini 2 list is quite good including many of the CD titles people(especially Americans) want like Lunar 1 and 2 as well as Popful Mail...the full Genesis Mini list is absent of all of these CD titles...Popful Mail, Lunar 1 and 2 as well as Snatcher. Even "Dark Wizard", a Sega CD game published and developed by Sega(so costing nothing), is missing. The game list is generally a copy and paste of the Mega Drive Mini 2 list absent the very Japanese stuff like "Romance Of the Three Kingdoms" and Mahjong and other Anime RPG's. The replacements are overall uninspiring imo, with the highlight being "Warsong" which I feel is no real substitute for "Snatcher". Past that there's "Clay Fighter" and "Earthworm Jim 2", the latter of which seems strange since they could've had "Earthworm Jim Special Edition" which is considered the superior version even compared to the PC release.
Honestly the whole thing wrecks of laziness and possibly not trying for "Snatcher". "Dark Wizard" is a clear one that makes no sense because it costs them nothing theorhetically(unless they don't outright own the voice acting and that's it imo), "Eternal Champions" CD is another weird one since isn't "Night Trap" still considered mature.
Honestly if American Sega fans don't cancel their Genesis Mini 2 preorders it will embolden them to be lazy and make no effort and disrespect the fans even more like Nintendo has. Sertiously it made me disgusted to see people who are supposedly Sega fans making excuses for this bad behavior of Sega(it was on a YouTube react video to the annoucement), saying they were still going to buy the Genesis Mini 2. This just makes me even more firm I will find a way to import the Mega Drive Mini 2 as it is superior by leaps and bounds.
