The wound on my leg has taken a turn for the worst in the last couple of weeks. Last time it did this I went to the ER in Parkland, well they gave me IV antibiotics it did not solve my issue very well. So this time I'm going to a different ER like Baylor Scott and White. The pain from it has been fairly extreme lately. I do not know how it will affect my Sunday zoom meetings, but I will try to have it. Pray for me?

Is there a wound clinic or specialist near you? I know some people who have been helped by them and others less so but it seems a more appropriate choice for your problem.

I have to make some assumptions here in the absence of more information that rightly doesn't need to be aired on this forum.
You say your leg wound is now worse than before, and, that a course of IV antibiotics did not seem to make a lot of difference previously. I will say that going to a different ER most likely will not produce a different result.
Getting a referral to a wound clinic, as has already been suggested, will probably gets some results.
Another assumption: Reading between the lines it seems that your leg wound could be a diabetic ulcer that typically are very slow to respond. Maybe it needs a debridement to get rid of any dead and dying tissue so that your immune system, such as it is, might get a fair go at organising some healing of the ulcer. If you have type 2 diabetes then you do need to get some proactive, and not reactive, treatment to clean this up. If you do not know your diabetes status then go and see your general practitioner and get tested. A blood sugar measurement will help your GP to make and confirm a diagnosis. This can lead on to better management of your ulcer and eventual healing.
I am a Clinical Nurse Consultant. I tend to leave my ills without treatment thinking that they will get better on their own. At my age now that is harder to achieve than in the past.
Be that as it may; go and get some definitive treatment for your leg ulcer. A dose of IV antibiotics from a harried and busy Emergency Room will not cut it.

I agree with Greybeard and others a wound clinic would be the best bet. They helped my wife with her wound.
I currently have a wound care tech
coming 3 times a week to my home. The county hospital which is over 25 miles away refuses to treat the wound because I am getting some badly needed care from someone other than them (Bureaucracies, gotta hate them). So I'm changing health systems to someone other than them. The core problem is being stuck in a wheelchair 24/7. I'm not getting good blood flow in my paralyzed leg due to my sedentary life style.
In case you don't know I'm paralyzed on my left side due to a brain bleed.
