Caution:
Since Erin wished all of us Canadians a happy Canada Day a few days ago, I thought turnabout was fair play so Happy 4th of July to all of our Americans on BCTS. I hope you all enjoy your day.

Here is love
Here is my wish of love and all the best back from one of those "Americans". Let us find in this holiday the opportunity to bring a new sense of openness and acceptance to all our family, friends, sisters, brothers, and allies around the word. Let us all learn, finally, that we have more that unites us than divides us. We all want safety, well being, and the freedom to make our way in the world without fear. Let us remember that nationalism, tribal division and in group/out group divisiveness has rarely made any of this better for anyone.
We have a challenging few years and decades ahead of us. We have an opportunity to meet them with openness and love or with division and hate. Please, let us chose openness and love.

Family lore
I have an ancestor who was almost Canadian. :) She was born a bit early after a family trip to Canada, her Mom was having pains on the ferry back to the US side. This was in 1876, and in celebration of the centennial, and I guess the baby's close call, they named her Columbia America Morgan. :)
Happy Independence Day, everyone.
Hugs,
Erin

I married a Canadian when I
I married a Canadian when I lived in BC. Still married after 30 years. I was told I'd go to Canada and marry a red-headed Canadian Girl. I did.
