I honestly don't know if I shall post tonight, I feel quite wretched and my sinuses and eyes are quite painful. I know it's only a heavy cold, but I really do feel yuck. I know I should have a better antivirus program.

Bonzi won't stand in for me, his toes are still sore from yesterday - besides his writing is better than mine and I don't need upstaging by a cat, however clever he is.

I'm going back to bed.

Hugs,

Angharad.

Take care of the cold first.

The common rhinovirus is the most painful affliction: our sinuses are far too close to our brains making a really short circuited path for those pain signals. My favorite cure is hot tea or cider liberally spiked with honey or molasses and Southern Comfort (or the equivalent). It doesn't really cure anything, but if of appropriate dosage, you no longer care that it hurts.

Take care, and see that Bonzi behaves ~~ well reasonably at least ~~ we'll gladly wait a day or so for Cathy's next installment.

A Short Circuit?

You mean I've been paying doctors and spending money on 'cold remedies', when all I needed to do was call in an electrician?

Most silliness aside, Angharad. Now, or any time you don't feel like writing an episode, take the time you need.
We can suffer the wait, and we will suffer, but you come first.

As to John's suggestion, no, John, it won't work. I assume Bonzi's tail has fur on it, which would make it slip, and would press down too many adjacent keys, anyway.

One of the most difficult things to give away is kindness.
It usually comes back to you.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I feared something of the sort...

Please take care of yourself... I don't want you reading this, until you're on the mend!

Perhaps Cathy and company can do with a nice quiet day. :-)

Best wishes to a speedy recovery,
Annette

Brysia wella :-)

Angharad,

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

Brysia wella/ get well soon.

Cofleidiau,

Alys

That's tough ...

... because it's been such a good weekend for weather. Very cold but bright sunshine with clear skies - very rare these days in the UK (if it ever wasn't - rare I mean.

We went to the velodrome on Saturday where you'll be pleased to note young Welsh riders are leading both u16 competitions. Trackmeister Hoy showed his holiday in Thailand hasn't dulled his sprinting and he was awarded a standing ovation to honour his 3 Olympic Gold medals when he made a circuit before the serious business began.

Today was a club Xmas lunch which meant a chilly ride with a few slippery bits but a good time was had by all.

So there you are - get well soon but don't go out on your bike until you're properly well. I'm sure Cathy can survive a few days without your immediate attention and we certainly can.

Geoff

Get well fast

Hello dear Angharad,
I am back and have started to download stories from the last six months. Beginning with the "Bike". It will be interesting to see what all has happened while I have been away. Be careful with the infection, it might be the flu. If you can while you feel bad: Find out more things that can happen in all the stories you keep runing in different places, and most of all Get Well Fast.

I think I'm improving a little, though not eating very much - makes me want to up-chuck. Anyway, before Bonzi asks for author status here, I thought I'd better post another Bike.

Disinfected hugs,

Angharad
