Sadly old Jack passed away last night.
To be honest, I can't say I wasn't half expecting it. He did look extremely frail and I think confused at suddenly receiving kindness from humans. But at least his last days were in the warm with a soft bed to rest on with as much nice food as he wanted to eat.

People, please pay attention to the lives of your pet especially if they are short lived compared to you.
A cat or dog typically can live about 14 years as we know so every day they do not get the love they need is a even worst lost opportunity then even forgetting to appreciate the human loved ones in your life ( yes, yes unless then are within 14 yeas of the end of their lives too. )
Take the time out to love your pet.
