Looking for a couple of stories.

The first one is about a scientist who dies from an explosion saving a young girl. the scientist meets with the grim reaper / death and make a deal, where he shares his new life with him as a young girl. girl when reassembled by death had somehow left a piece of technology from the bomb in her one eye that also let her see with but causes her pain from using it. the young girl's father helps the scientist now young lady by letting her live with them in their mansion/home. The scientist now young girl is also the creator/ designer of Gen Mods or gen splice. The Girl / Scientist while living at the mansion in her room pick up were he / she left off form her research in new splices / mod creations. while also to go back to school. while living her new life she must either get the seven sin to help her against god who wants to destroy the bridge to the after life. or kill them and take their power to get stronger for the battle that is to come.

The Second story is Titled, "The Dimensional Rift". I found the author's first rough draft on Fictionmania.com. Was written back in around 2012, by the author, John Kincade. Has anyone seen or know if it still exist.
