I just tried to send a message to someone, and got a message that the attempt to send the message failed, and to contact my site administrator. When I tried to send a message to erin about this, got the same fail message.
So now I am doing a blog entry, as a way to contact my administrator. My apologies for wasting everyone else's time.

Last Night
After three attempts to PM two dear friends I gave up. Even more annoying was that my message disappeared after each try, so I had to rewrite it.
I'm happy to know it's fixed now.
How to get your message back
I use Google Chrome on Windows. When this problem happens I press the left arrow button at the top left of the browser to go to the previous page. The message text that I entered is still filled in. Try doing that next time and see if it works for you.
