It's not working for me either at the moment.

It usually comes back to you.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Crystal's
Seems to be working here just fine tonight.
I was able to get to the
I was able to get to the main site, none of the stories, and not the board.
Let's see, FM down indefinately, Sapphire's not updated in six months, Elrond's gone, Crystal's not working now, and this site possibly going down. Not happy making.

Maybe for work
If Piper's TGFiction site is also down, Piper may have things offline to do some work or maintenance. I've noticed that they both go down and come back up at about the same time. So hopefully it is temporary.

Here's theURL for Crystal's Mirror Site.
http://storysite.tgsa.net/ It almost always works when the main URL seems down.

As a T-woman, I do have a Y chromosome... it's just in cursive, pink script.
The site comes up with tgsa
But I wasn't able to access the stories. Couldn't even access the site from the usual url.

There is one message on it, from Ave:
The main server is unavailable at this time. I do not have additional information at this time. All of the stories are available as well as the search.
Pages will load slow because you have to wait for the links back to the main site to time out.
I will post more information as I get it
Ave
Now, I guess she is talking about the mirror Storysite, which I have as:
http://storysitetwo.org/homepage.html
It works at least partially, but I didn't stick around for the "time out" she mentions to occur.

I think she was referring to
I think she was referring to the possible loss of the site if the fires knock the power out in LA. This site is hosted there, and that could cause it to go down for an unknown time.
Erin posted a blog entry on it, along with all our concerns for those that have lost their homes.

BC is fine, so far
Even with the rolling blackout yesterday, our server host, CalPOP remained online. We had one unexpected reboot of the system but it's possible no one noticed since the site came back up immediately. I don't know if the blackout just didn't hit CalPOP or if their backup power supply filled the gap.
I'm fairly comfortable that we will not have any unexpected outages. If we got through yesterday without one, we're probably okay.
No word yet on what is going on with Piper's sites.
Hugs,
Erin

News from Piper on StorySite and other
Piper's aware of the problems with the server and will be working on them soon. Apparently not that serious. :)

Sorry everyone... I have been in Florida on vacation visiting Mickey, Minnie, Tinkerbell and others this past week... The server went down shortly after midnight Saturday night/Sunday morning. It was just a stupid little glitch in the server backup scripts and I just failed to notice it down due to the fact that I was packing/sleeping/heading to the airport. I got the server rebooted shortly after Erin called me to let me know what was up, and I fixed GabyZone after my plane landed back in Philadelphia, and I just finished getting the rest of the sites up and running full spec again.
