Friday was a great day. I went and did some shopping. I was looking for shoes but I did not find any in my size that I liked. I ended up at Kmart and I was walking by the Intimates department when I got up the courage to browse. I ended up buying my first nightgown. I went through the plus size women's dept. I was looking for a skirt but they only had winter clothes out. That's okay though. I bought a new brush and nail polish gift box. I stopped on the way home and got my hair trimmed. I'm letting it grow out so I just neatened it up. I arrived home and took a shower to clean out the hair trimmings. I dressed in my new nightgown and spent the evening playing with my nails and brushing my hair. I loved it. I talked with my sister for almost an hour. We spent 25 minutes just talking about facial cleansers. Once she even referred to me as a girl without hesitation. I'm so glad that I came out to her this summer. That night was really good medicine for me. Eventually I had to put my nightgown away and clean my nails so that I could go to work, but I have to tell you that it was like I had a warm glow around me for hours. Even though I was wearing slacks and a scrub top, it was like I could still feel my nightgown on me. I felt warm and content. I loved every second of it.

On sunday I was shopping at the maall, walmart and kmart. I was looking for xmas ideas and some fem clothes for myself. I started looking at earrings. I did not have pierced ears so I was looking for clipons. They were horrible. No matter where I went the only good clip ons were for 4 year olds. So I finally got up the nerve to get my ears pierced. I got some really nice gold studs. I have taken some crap from my co-workers but thats okay. One even hit the nail on the head when he joked that I was turning into "one of them she-males". Another said that since I got both ears peirced, that makes me twice as gay. It's okay though. I know these guys and their just jokeing around.

I can't wait untill the 6 weeks are over so that I can wear some nice earrings.
