Trying to find story

I'm trying to locate a story I read several years ago. I don't recall many details. What I do remember was it was boy becomes super-soldier girl. Lives with at least one other girl. Lives near a dojo where she trains with an ex-SEAL. People were after her for some reason.

Details I'm not so sure about: I think she was active duty when voluntarily changed by the military, and after changing she was an under-cover operative. I think maybe she taught some self defense classes at some point.

I'd appreciate any pointers, or suggestions of similar stories.

If you're into wish-fulfillment, super-soldier stuff, "She of the Jade Skirt" is a good one.

Elements sound like...

what you find in LadyDragon623 stories, except for the forced by military.

The stories are a good read.

I believe there is a story within the Retcon universe somewhat based on Captain America. She does become a super soldier as end ends up working for a special group within the government.
