Looking for a specific story the only detail I can remember right now is the main character and their friend go out to dinner with the main characters mother and it’s the first time the main character is wearing a skirt it’s a young teen Story

If I remember right the scene I’m talking about they park in a parking garage they have to walk a little ways down the street to get to the restaurant

Friends get together for a Anime marathon (I think) and one of them lets everyone know he's making costumes for a group cosplay. Ray being small gets a cross gender costume, though it's not his choice. As the only female in the group of friends comes over to see if he can be comfortable as a girl, Mom walks in and sees Ray dressed up and decided to treat the teens to lunch. On the way from the parking garage, men are "Scoping out" Ray and he feels a bit uncomfortable. Needless to say, lunch doesn't go down well.

Could it be "Tracy's Story"

There is also another story that I remember where the MC is taken to the Mall by mom (Boy Mode) but they are buying girls shoes, and are spied by 3 of the MC's female peers, if memory serves they all become friends

Both stories mention MC being nervous and the same age grouping
