I've seen you. sometimes, popping up in the online users list. And while I know there's lots of private issues and concerns which prevent you from publishing more of Christina, I can't help but wonder if you _ever_ go publish some more chapters of Christina. I've tried to be patient, I understand private concerns and real life matters can really cut in this illusive world of make-believe, but you've conjured up a really vast amount of avid readers and fans for your oh-so-real creation of Christina Chase.
Can you give us an idea of when you'll be able to commence posting the delightful story of Christina? I'd be immensely grateful if you could begin publishing again, but I totally understand that real life issues can be an obstructive problem, so I'd be almost as grateful if you'd be able to ensure that you will indeed conclude the tale.. (?)
Please, please, tell me you're going to publish more, and eventually, concluding chapters. It's such a beautiful and moving tale.

I'm just checking in now and again to make sure my two fans keep clicking the links to inflate my readership counts.
There really isn't any interesting circumstances or crippling illnesses to explain the lack of posting. There isn't even writer's block. It's just a simple issue of time. It takes a lot of time to actually commit all the words down onto paper, and I've simply not had it. I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but that's really all there is to it.
That said, I HAVE been writing the rest of the story, and my current intention is to finish writing all the rest of the story before publishing it. I realize that this means the ending comes later, but when it does come, there should be a steady stream of weekly postings.
I can't promise when that will resume as my particular brand of hackery is needlessly long-winded, so this just takes a while. I will say that when the posting resumes, they will be consistent, and I can disappoint all of you with the hackneyed and unrealistic ending I've had in my mind from day one :D
i know how you feel...
sometimes just thinking about the amount of work required to continue a story is exhausting. even when you've written large slabs of it, the thought of having to tie up those loose ends etc, or just plain fill in the gaps... it's enervating. I've got five very long stories on my hard drive that will probably never be finished simply because I can't summon the energy.
take your time. i don't know that your "hackery" as you refer to it (a touch foolishly) is needlessly long-winded. personally i find it quite charming.

Add in the fact I am ho-hum speller, poor at puntuation and type slow with lots of errmcjgfbhs, uerros -- CRAP -- errors and I am amazed I get anything done. WE will be happy when you are down, um, not that we will be happy that you have stopped writing, finally but ... No that's all wrong.
I look forward to any writing by you that time and RL permit you and hope to see you sucessfully complete your current story saga and hope for more to follwo.

Still, I know that the Author may not end it like I would. If all stories ended the way I want, then what would be the sense of that?
Maybe she'll transition. Maybe the Lawyer is gay and likes her like she is? Maybe she'll go back to being that awful boring boy with no life? Maybe Chris learned enough as a girl to make him a better boy?
I've heard comments about how the Admiral was give guideance. Oh, I know how I would like it to end but then again sometimes Dad just goes out and shoots your pet Calf because he wants veal cutlets.

I just use the Men in Black flash device and erase my memory then reread the chapters Admiral Krunch has written.

who's not one of the two Krunch was referring too, I offer encouragement. That makes me the the other fan not to be confused with the rotary oscillator kind. Christina Chase's story is one of the best on BCTS. To say I'm eager to read more wouldn't do it justice.
