I posted the second (technically fourth) Writers' Challenge on Saturday, and so far no takers! :(

Maybe if I acknowledged some kind of 'winner' of the last one, but it really isn't that kind of challenge.

Very well. The winner is... all us readers lucky enough to get to read your stories! The prize? A duck!

Writers' Challenge

Some challenges take longer to respond to than others. I've accepted the challenge of editing an old story. I choose BaseBall Annie, which was one of my earliest stories and one I haven't rewritten all that much over the years. My "edit" involves changing the narrative voice throughout the entire story. The story will now be told from the perspective of the manager of the team. As you can imagine, I will change nearly every sentence in the story in some way. I've completed one pass through the text and will continue the work as time permits.

Patience my dear Rasufelle. Gnomes won't wilt on E-Bay.

Still? ;)

"Well I DID say one a week," she replied petulantly, before casting the good sir a happy smile. "Not that older challenge entries aren't to be looked forwards to, mind you, I just like a guarantee of a little variety in my reading. I'm only going to do fifty-two challenges total, that's not so hard, is it?"
