The nurse came today to tend to my leg. She has to unwrap the bandages and clean out the gunky padding from where the leg is draining still.
She says that the leg is looking better dy by day as the medicines work their magic.
Right now, i have to take six prescriptions that consist of medicine to help with my blood pressure, antibiotics, iron pills, one to keep me from chewing the scenery [ without it, I tend to snap at people without thinking] and two for pain. One is Ibuprofen and the other is meant to be taken as needed.
Well, as she was here tending my leg, a therapist showed up to see if I needed any help. I am glad to report that I passed all of his tests with flying colors.
I had to show that both arms are strong and that I can walk upon the old leg. truthfully, if it wasn't for the bandages, It'd be as if the leg was well.
I still have to go back to the doctor so that he can see how well things are going and for him to see if he needs to do anything other than what the nurse is doing.
She says that there is some scarring that he will remove at the time. she says that there is new skin underneath and that letting the scar tissue stay lets the new skin stay safe.
I want to thank everybody for their prayers and well wishes, I am getting better and i am catching up on those wonderful stories that I missed while I was out.

Talking sternly to myself
At times I get myself into situations that were preventable if I had done what I needed to do. I have a couple situations that I have to keep subdued by self care. Does any of this apply to you or were you injured? As I get older, it seems to take more time to manage all this.
Many Blessings
