This oddity started a few days ago and until this morning fixed itself on loading another page.
The content div is now @ 90-95% screen width, with the shadow outlining it.
The background is white, the foreground is white, and the entire set of markers for segments of the page are missing.
The width I'm getting is great, the lack of definition in the different parts of the page not so much.
and all that white is blinding. ;)

I believe they changed the
I believe they changed the main style sheet so that if it went wonky, it'd be readable white rather than difficult purple.
I did notice that on another machine, the format was fine, until I logged in. As soon as I logged in, the main page went from normal to white.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Bibliophage is correct. We've got it set up to automatically clear up in a few minutes but the white is lots less annoying than the purple. :)
