I've finally finished and turned over the Wildcats Book One to Erin for publishing on Amazon. It's ten chapters and 60,000 words. Hopefully, this will generate some funds for Big Closet.
I'm working on Book Two right now and hope to have it done very soon. It's about the same length. Book Three will follow.
I want to turn the story into a graphic novel to publish online.
Since this is just an idea, I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with doing something like this and could share their thoughts.

I believe LULU offers that service, but they are expensive.

You might want to post the story on Deviant Art, or a synopsis of it. There are a lot of young artists there that might be interested in doing the graphics on a profit sharing basis.
I suspect it would be a major job taking a text story and converting it to a graphic novel. It is one thing to write about what someone is feeling or thinking, another thing to get that into a cartoon panel. That would be your part of the job. Most artists are poor writers.

Thanx for the info but could you let us know how these updates & books (1 - 3) fit in with what we've been following here on BC a few months ago? Are you referring to all new material? Or is this what you have already posted here? Are you picking up where you left off or expanding upon the earlier work? Sorry about my confusion... I just don't wanna miss out on anything!

the Wildcats - an update

Thank you for asking about the Wildcats. When I finished the thirty chapters on Big Closet, I felt that the story had reached a point that it could be stopped (but not ended). I personally think there's a lot more fun left in that tale. I talked with Erin and we agreed that it was a win-win for her to publish those chapters on Amazon. But I wanted to really make it a much better read, so I set out to rewrite the chapters and resend them to Dee and Eric, the editors.
As an update, Erin now has those first ten chapters which I refer to as Book One. The new read is over 60,000 words or around two hundred pages. It's not all that much different from the Big Closet story, just with more details and a lot more fun.
I'm working on the second and third book doing the same task as I did with the first. I'm fortunate to have two great editors working with me.
I've got a great start on a Jessica Jade novel, about half-way through.
And naturally, I can't wait to tell the next chapter in the Wildcats story.
