If you take a look to the right, you will find Becoming Robin books 1 and 2 advertising the books on Kindle. Below that you will find Becoming Robin books 3 and 4, which are posted here. Have fun. I did.

great

Picked up this and part one from amazon Kindle and love them. I really hope you put up more of the Robinverse.

I have also wondering if there is an irl band that Heedless Despair is based on?

Heedless Despair: A couple of bands inspired them ;-)

While they're more-or-less fictional, the idea behind Heedless Despair really took root in the real world Euro bands, Lordi and Nightwish. I took heavy inspiration from Lordi in terms of the band's mystique, even directly borrowing the concept of some smartass reporter trying to photograph them, and the fans going nuts against said reporter.

In terms of musical style, I took some inspiration from Nightwish whose original lead vocalist, Anette Olzon, has classical opera training. I also took some inspiration from the fictional band "The Hex Girls", but only a little, to their more playful in-character side. Their biographies and personal backgrounds were completely original though.

Bonus fact: Shadowfang/Moira's original on stage outfit was inspired by the game Rock Band (she was my personal avatar from Rock Band 2, 3, and 4 <3). Her outfit change was meant to show that she originally threw together the idea for her "character" costume literally at the last minute, not thinking she'd actually remain in the band for very long.

She got the new costume/"Lady in White" persona after realizing she was in this for the long haul
