Hi everyone! I'm sorry for being away for so long, and not updating the Waitress!
At first I got really sick again, my immune system isn't very good, but while I was recovering I got a job! And got so anxious about it that I got sick again >.> Aha. My body sucks.
But, I got better and I'm working now! I'm 28 and haven't worked in 6 years so it's been exhausting. I'm a (ironically enough) waitress, I have a cert 2 in hospitality and am working on a Cert 3 so I can move into being a bartender, something I've always been interested in. I've been dead on my feet pretty much and the only creative thing I've managed to do over the past two months is eat a bagel. Eh?
I'm a fussy eater.
But! Anyway,
I do intend to continue the Waitress. I just don't know when I'll be able to do that at the moment sorry :( I remember reworking some scenes because I wanted to pace it better but I've looked over it and the spark for it isn't there at the moment. I think it's just because I'm exhausted, I really do like the story. But with all things that I look back on I see things I want to do better and end up wanting to rewrite the whole thing to make it perfect even though I should just finish it first >.<
So...one day I'll get back to it, or...it'll end up on the list with a few other of my stories that will get re-written in the future. Thankyou all for the support on it so far, it's been amazing. It really helped me continue and push through my doubts about it not being very good. When I do get back to it then thankyou all in advance ^.^
It will probably be a few months before I'm up to writing again though. Right now my head is full of money (yay!), customers (...yay) and coworkers (...).
^_^

Even with a healthy body, the shock of being on your feet for hours as a waitress would be strenuous. I hope you find it easy, relatively, once you get used to it. Waitressing is very physically demanding job.

I was really enjoying your story and anticipating what was coming next. But I can wait. Your health and your finances come first. Have fun with this next stage in your life.

Thanks for the update :)

We hates it when a writer just disappears - and it's not just for selfish reasons, though I've missed the Waitress. I guess it will be real life research.
Oh yes, and congratulations!

I'm exhausted both physically and emotionally these days. I've been trying to write my current story, I look at it and I just don't feel it anymore. It sucks too because I really want to write it :(.

Perfection is, always, one step beyond, where my feet are.

Good to hear from you

Could I have a side of light fiction? Be well, make money, then write!
I'm retired,so all I do is read and try to write.
