What's the proper format for a drabble?

In light of the recent epidemic in drabbles, I was wondering how The Powers That Be would like them formatted. Because they're so small, it seems weird trying to use the same rules as regular stories on them, but are we supposed to do so anyway?

Do we still need to repeat the author and title inside the body, like with other stories? I didn't do that in my last one.

Also, do we still need to put the break line in there, or is it acceptable for the whole thing to appear on the front page?

Drabbling

It's not necessary to put the title and author inside the body of post for a drabble.

I would prefer that the break be used as even a drabble takes vertical room if the entirety appears on the front page. Also, if the whole thing is on the front page, why would anyone click read more and if no one clicks read more, then no one gets counted.

Break

Erin, I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack but is a break the same as hr?

Breaker, good buddy

A break is the symbol marking the end of the text to appear on the front page. It looks like this: <!--break-->

Thanks Erin

That fixed it. Like I said...
