Ho hum,

Tomorrow, at noon, I jump in my car with the SO and do a quick 6 country trip in order to take a garden table to my daughter in (near) Tunbridge Wells in the UK.

Start in Switzerland, zoom up through Germany for a bit, cross into France, then Luxembourg, then Belgium and the final 60 odd miles back in France again - then get on the ferry (but we're doing the Tunnel this time, taking up a special deal offer) and into the UK.

We will overnight on the way up near Luxembourg (if anyone is interested, this shall be our hotel: http://www.lechateaudewendel.com/ ) - almost exactly half-way to the ferry port - but we shall do the return trip (all 600 miles) in one fell swoop.

On Sunday.

Yes, we shall have only 3 full days in the UK, with Friday lunch in the Guildford/Farnham area.

Currently, I am proofreading for four authors here on this site as well as continuing with Julina.

And proofreading for eight others on other sites.

So everything will be put on hold for 5 days now. I think I deserve a quick rest - not that it shall be much of a rest, visiting my 6-month (sorry - 7 months) old grand-daughter. But it's my birthday present to myself!
