Hey everyone.
I'm not very good with the whole blog thing.
I keep forgetting to log in when I go on BC anyway but I figured, while I'm logged in now, I'd try and introduce myself..
I've been visiting BC for quite a few years now. Pretty sure I've read most of the serials here and a lot of the single stories too (sorry if I've read your story but haven't commented btw) it's more due to crippling shyness then apathy I promise!
I migrated to here when I found the site by accident (I googled a story I liked on storysite and it redirected me).
I do write stories when I have time but I'm kind of volatile with my style so you probably won't see anything from me until I'm 120% finished writing and triple checking them lol.
Wow.. just realized I started all of my sentences so far with 'I'.. kinda makes me sound a bit self-centered when I re-read it lol.
Anyway, a little about me and I'll stop blundering through this introduction.
I'm a fully time student doing a degree at the moment.
I've known I was TG from a very young age (although I only found out what it was called about 3 days after getting my first dial up internet connection installed).
I only recently managed to tell my best female friend that I'm TG but she accepted it without question which has been a GREAT boost for my confidence (hence this meandering attempt at a blog).
I've been through therapy for depression since a suicide attempt when I was 13 but it was only about 3 weeks ago that I actually managed to tell my therapist exactly WHY I was depressed (lets just say if your going to be trapped in a male body I've got one of the worst kinds, think a lumber jack with more beard lol).
umm.. what else.. I'm English, originally from London (Yay! still have my Londoner accent after all this time hehe)
Ohhh, don't know if you've noticed but when I'm nervous I laugh.. a lot
weird I know but I even do it when I'm typing! In my defense I'm a child of the MSN generation *shrug* lol.
I think that's pretty much it. Sorry for going on but as I said, thought I'd give this blog thing a try.
If anything develops in my life or I get really really bored I'll add to this etc but I've got a pretty boring life atm anyway so don't hold your breath lol.

Harmless?
....People can be so cruel!
I deny categorically being harmless in whatsoever degree.
Oh .... and welcome tabby.
Harmless indeed!
Mutter, mutter.

I adore you London girls...
After sorting through your post, it seems like you at least understand yourself on a psychological level--which is beautiful in my opinion. As a transgendered woman who has been through just about everything, I'll gladly offer any advice where I can. I'm also an attorney (I read TG-related court decisions and legislation every day), so if you ever come to the US, I can give you one of the most straight-forward legal wrapups you'll get.

Welcome
Welcome Tabby,
or should I say, Wotcha! this site is addicting isn't it? hope to see you around, now that your out of your shell.

Welcome
Hiya Tabby.
I'm a bit shy sometimes too, especially online, but I had to welcome you. People sometimes mistake my shyness for arrogance. I don't know how that can be. It seems odd. I always thought arrogant people were loud mouths. Hmmmm.
Anyway, I've tried writing a few stories but nothing I've written so far has been well-received. I keep trying though and I recommend you try too. Writing is such fun.
There are many other tg fiction sites around so don't be afraid to look elsewhere for wonderful stories. Sapphire's Place used to be my favorite place until I discovered this site. Now this is my favorite.
I'm a strange tg person but my friends and family think I'm sweet. Feel free to email me directly through the site. I'd be happy to hear from you. :)
Hugs
- Terry
Thank you for the warm welcome everyone
I love this site and, although I've held back from joining in, I enjoy reading the comments and banter that go on here as well.
In my opinion BC has some of the greatest stories it's ever been my pleasure to read, TG or non-TG.
I'll try to press on with my own writing from now on.
I've got a few stories that have at least a couple of long chapters completed by now but I still think I'll hold back a little longer before posting any of them.
You wouldn't believe the amount of times I've started a story, got about 10 chapters in, only to realize that I had to go back to the start and change the plot (even slightly) to accommodated some new idea I've had, I'd hate to post something and have to stop because I made a mess of the beginning! lol
I'll defiantly to make an effort to comment from now on at least, I still feel kind of guilty for reading so much and not leaving a message for the author(s) involved in the stories lol *blush*
