The sidebar lists are not automatic. Someone has to add a chapter to them. I didn't get around to adding Mopar's latest until about 2 a.m. this morning.

both of mopar's recent postings should be on there, neither are. They show in the correct positioning in the extended listing of new stories.

Usually just one
Unless there are exceptional circumstances only the most recent posting of any story stays on the front page. Occasionally the most recent disappears from the front page accidentally but gets put back as soon as it is spotted.
