I'm sorry to ask, but I was hoping for some help. I've been trying to find a story that was serialized, that I was greatly enjoying, but seems to have vanished! I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I can't quite remember the title, but it contained "Ms Stevenson", and the story was about a college professor and his student, and a sexy woman who was giving him a potion to change him - it was a wonderful re-telling of the Jekyll and Hyde story and many of the characters were named appropriately.
Any help would be appreciated!

its THE MYSTERIOUS MS. STEVENSON by Emily Devereux
Thank you!!!! xx
Thank you!!!! xx
Emily
I know the story was here on BC, maybe the shoe boxen, but I can't find it anywhere, nor her listed as author. Maybe she pulled it for some reason. I have chapters 1-5 in text form. I remember the graphic in the title box well. I can't find her listed as an author at FM, nor Storysite either. Don't know what happened to her or the story, and Shoeboxen is soooooo slowwwwww.
Erin, HELP on this one
I see the author has withdrawn their name from BC. Any reason?
The Dr Jeckyl, Mr Hyde takeoff was quite good and deserved completion.

Yes, Emily deleted her stories. I'm not sure why, though I think she may have told me. I just don't remember. She does still visit the site now and then, she was on on Saturday. Perhaps you could PM her.

I PM'd Emily and asked her.
Emily told me that she didn't feel that her stories were welcome here because of the lack of response to them. She said she pulled them from Fictionmania for similar reasons. I'm paraphrasing so hopefully I'm conveying her meaning properly.
She said she still pops up here from time to time so maybe if a few more people PM'd her and encouraged her she may let us read the rest of her Mysterious Mrs. Stevenson. She also said that she has the rest of the story done.

You may tell her for one, I am interested in reading it
It was a strange story but compelling and was statring to get quite intersting when she stopped.
A clever twist on the various variations on Stevenson's clasic.

It would be more convincing...
John,
... if everyone who was wanting the rest of the story PM'd her on their own. I did my bit by asking her to reconsider, it's up to the rest of you to do your bit.
Hopefully if enough people do this she may feel that her stories are indeed welcome here.

Oh that's a shame, I'm sorry
Oh that's a shame, I'm sorry she feels like that. I have to say I'm not as good at giving feedback as I used to be - I guess this is the consequence.
I've messaged her anyway, so thank you

How Do We Ask Emily That Since
We do not have an address for her? Do we wait until she shows up and than ask? I for one enjoyed her stories, but if they are not here, they can not be read.

How to PM someone who doesn't appear in the Author's List
Go to your Inbox. At the bottom of the page there is a link for writing a new message, click on it. In the To field type emily (or whomever), but don't press enter and wait a moment. The system will find all the matches and list them. Click on the correct one. Now write your PM as you normally would.

Ms. Stevenson
I won't get into anything too personal, but I do want to say thanks to all of you for showing interest in The Mysterious Ms. Stevenson. The story is done but I don't really know what to do with it right now. I've been considering a few things, but I don't know enough about law and publishing to know what's a good option at this point. So for now, I'm just stockpiling my material.
If anyone knows of a good self-publishing or Lulu type publishing group that permits authors to publish erotic fiction, please let me know. If I do anything with the story, I promise to let y'all know.
Em-
Lulu and others
Lulu has no problem with publishing adults only books. They just don't want to have such books reachable through their in-house search engine so you have to provide an outside URL with an order button that sends the order direct to Lulu.
There's also Profits Publishing in Florida that will print and sell your book similarly because they don't maintain an in-house catalog at all except for a handful of their best sellers. Lulu is cheaper (as little as Zero up front) for most situations but Profits is close and cheaper in upfront costs than big outfits like Booksurge.
