Overlooking Lake Windamere | 163.43 KB |
Author:
Well, I've spent a week in lovely England. We spent a night in Blackpool, where I first got to know Abby 2 years ago, and then 2 nights at Hawkshead in the Lake District. I don't know if I'll ever go home. So much history combined with greenery and beauty like I've never seen. Wow!!

Glad you like it :)
There's more than a lifetime's worth of stuff to see and experience if we know where to look, sometimes we overlook it which is sad. Must go back to the lakes.

Travel
As you travel the world, you will soon realise that there is more to see than a lifetime of full time travel will ever cover. There are allways new things to see and to experience.
I travelled the world as a backpacker for two years, the more I travel, the more I realise that there are so much to see. Just think about your home town/city, you would probably need atleast a couple of weeks to experience it to really know the place, then think about how many towns etc. there are to see in the world.
I have never been to the lake district, but I see that it looks like a lovely place to visit. So maybe sometime in the future... I know for sure that I will be never be to old/experienced/etc. to find joy in travelling to new places.
Given the right weather
almost anywhere can be attractive and I like the Lake District though it's not so welcoming in an icy gale with horizontal rain, and it rains there a lot. There was nice little bookshop in Hawkshead, though the place tends to be dominated by its eponymous leisure clothing company.

Nice!
As long as you like it, that's what is important.
