Police in Gloucestershire near Dursley are hunting a wallaby - it could only happen in the UK. Looks like it got the jump on them as it escaped their efforts to apprehend the illegal immigrant.

Roaming Rugby Fan?
As there wasn't much tension expected in the match against Uruguay and their next match isn't until against England next Saturday is it any surprise that a bored Aussie fan might decide to do a bit of sight seeing. Up in the Lake District I heard there used to be several compatriots so maybe the police should look that way.

Wallabies
Living wild in several parts of the UK, although populations fluctuate. Two areas were near Leek in Staffordshire and near Whipsnade, Beds. And there are white wallabies half a mile from my front door.

Not sure what you call a pack of wallaby's?
During ww2 at least two zoos with the governments permission let their wallaby's loose in areas it was thought they might survive in after the zoos could no longer feed them.

Wallabies, kangaroos and pretty much all other Australian marsupials come in mobs. See, I did learn something watching Crocodile Hunter.
