I've been searching for a while for a story. The gist of it is that there is a boy who is a bully, but it turns out he's largely motivated by the cruelty and borderline brainwashing of his father. He somehow gets changed into a girl and goes to live with his (now her) mother and goes to school but has to deal with the aftermath of her bullying and the reputation. It all ends with her father showing up and attacking her.

I want to say it's a whately universe story but i don't think it is, i'm not sure for certain but it's something liek whately.
