This is what's ahead for me, as far as I can see:
- I'm going through my old stories, re-reading, tweaking things. Going in backward order: last written, first revised. Right now I'm on When Your Tabula Is Not Rasa
- I've got a lot of notes for a multi-part story with the same characters as The Top Of The Tree.
- I do have a lot of notes and plans and a few chapters of the next Marcie Donner story. At this point it looks like a somewhat scary mystery. Aunt Jane and Marcie go to Europe, and Marcie disappears. Spooky, eh?
- I'm not making any promises about Groans From Timbuctoo -- that is my fun piece. I'd rather not do it at all if it isn't fun. A few stories are knocking around in my head, but I'm going to let them cook until they make more sense to me.

Will Marcie be moving in the next book? It will be fun to see how Chapters continues. He has almost as many misadventures as Marcie.

Marcie is not moving
Marcie is going to keep on living where she is right now, in Flickerbridge, NJ. In the next story, though, she will move around a lot, but she'll see some old friends.
Old friends who *you* know.
The characters from the first story will come back in future stories.

I am roughing out chapter 3 of "Aliens" and we have a love/hate relationship right now. It just feels so cryptic, like a technical report; very frustrating. Then, I guess it's DP again maybe.
Writing is a lot of work but I feel so driven...
