Forums:

I *LOVE* trans stories with action/fantasy central themes. Probably why I love most of Morpheus stuff (fangirls) but I'm curious if there is any other stories similar to that or follow those kinds of themes?

Darkrealm's uni...

By enemyoffun. Also Lilith Langtree's Ares Bane is good.

I like Faerie Queen by Lilith but its not much on action. Julie O.'s stories that revolve around Iona Beddau would definitely catch your fancy but a lot of it is talk though there is action. You might like her character that becomes an assassin.

Just a drop in the bucket...

Check out the Comic Retcon stories, here. Or most anything written by Lilith Langtree (she founded the Comic Retcon universe, but wrote a lot of other stuff that you'd like)

Lots of stories!

Magical Girl Policy by Taralynn
Maiden By Decree by Maggie Finson
Alannah Goodspeed by Tychonaut
A Fistful of Dragons by Hypatia
The DarkRealms universe stories

That should keep ya occupied for a while!

action/fantasy trans stories...

Stories in the 'Caregivers Universe' (some stories over at Crystal Hall) started by E.E. Nalley are great action space adventures too! I don't remember the exact order the stories were written in but several authors wrote stories in that universe already. Oh I did find a blog on here with the order listed, it's at the bottom.

Guardians at the Gates of Madness : http://www.crystalhall.org/library/eenally/ggmadness.html - By E.E. Nalley

The Martian Conspiracy: http://www.sapphireplace.com/stories/enalley/martian.html - By E.E. Nalley (sequel to Guardians)

Archimedes' Loss: http://stardustr.us/content/archimedes-loss-care-givers-comp... - By E.E. Nalley

The Song of Corazon: http://www.crystalhall.org/library/maggief/corazon.html - By Maggie Finson

Home is the Sailor, Home From the Sea: http://www.crystalhall.org/library/Heather/HomeSailor.html

The order of the stories (which I've not listed them all) are here also. http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/blog/38346/is-there-official-l...

Erinyes

Try the Erinyes Universe, its an futuristic setting though. Also Ashley Blayze

Yeah but...

It's not action enmeshed with fantasy elements like Elves, Faerie or Odin type gods. That's what you had in mind, right OP?!

Consultant

Zapper has some good Fantasy/Action stories, the Consultant universe is pretty good

"we can turn it all around, because it's not too late, it's NEVER too late" -(never too late, Three Days Grace)

Whateley

look at the Chrystal site at the top at " hosted by us " there are about 200 plus stories and look for Whateley on Fictionmania and Wikki
and search from our site . You will find years worth of reading .
Happy reading HUGS Richie2

Well, since most of the folks I would otherwise recommend have already been named I would be remiss if I did not mention my stories, specifically my Ragnarok Rising trilogy (Incompatible, Transfigured and Destiny) as it is does have a fair dose of both fantasy and action.

I second a lot of the recommendations here, if you like monsters and supernatural things the DarkRealms Universe may be a good place to go since there is a wide range of stories from a multude of writers. There's still some stories I haven't read within the universe, but I've yet to read one I didn't enjoy.

EoF took down his story though "For the Fairest" ....really disappointing since it's one of the best in that universe and provided a lot of the background needed for a lot of other stories. i went to read it a few days ago.. it's *poof* off to that one blasphemous place which shall not be named.

I believe EoF

I believe EoF, Took down for 'For the Fairest' due to conflicts caused by publishing of the same, as did Heather O'Malley with '300 Rians'

Oh shoot

Well shoot, I'd forgotten all about that.

Have delightfully devious day,

Crap.

I'm sorry about that. I can't believe I blanked on your stories when you do have elves and other things in that.

It's all good

It's all good. The sheer number of author's and stories makes it difficult to name them all.

Have delightfully devious day,

Mags story...

Mags has a good action/fantasy story about a guy that becomes a girl Drow.

Lilith has a nice story on a guy that becomes a Druid priest female but I'm not sure how much action it contains.

oh!

Sadarsa's picture

neither of those stories are finished though, due to both characters becoming overly powerful Mary Sue's... Still an awesome read though

Speaking of Maggie and Lilith... Mag's Heaven and Hell series is a classic 'Must Read'

You might also like Maggie Finson's 'Heaven and Hell' Universe
there is magic, the supernatural, angels, demons, wizards, witches warlocks, imps, hellhounds, intrigue, and a spot of demonic civil war thrown in for good measure.

I have made each story title a link to where I found it as I first found the 'Heaven and Hell' Universe over a year ago, and last month I found Dr. Bender story totally by accident, then as I was preparing this entry I found the story by Jezzi-Belle

Where an Author name appears more than once or there is a number this is also a link to their pages on other sites.

Trismegistus Shandy

I think that several stories by Trismegistus Shandy would fit here too.
epain

Taralynn Andrews, Lynn Le Fey and others

I'll second the recommendations for "Magical Girl Policy" by Taralynn. She's posted the early chapters here at BigCloset and FM, but the most recent chapters are posted first at her own website, http://taralynn.sincomics.com . It's still ongoing, about one chapter per month, and it keeps getting better. And for Maggie Finson's "Maiden By Decree", which was completed a few years ago.

I'll also mention Lynn Le Fey's "The Gate to Aragnatha" on FM, an RPG portal fantasy, a complete novel.

Bek Corbin wrote a story with a similar plot and setting, but it was unfinished last I checked; something like "Foxfire"? She's also written several urban fantasies (e.g. "Hellcats" and "Merlin High"). All those are on Sapphire's Place, though her more recent work, most but not all of it Whateley-related, is at Crystal Hall.

epain was kind enough to recommend my oeuvre as a whole. Several of my stories are fantasy of manners, with more intrigue than combat, but "Not Beyond Conjecture", here on BigCloset, may fit the original poster's request fairly well. I've got another action-oriented story finished in first draft which I ought to revise and post within the new few months. (I have a backlog of first drafts to revise, so it won't be the next thing I do.)

My latest favorite and some other recommendations

I too like the TG with action genre. Especially the novel length stories. So many that have been mentioned above are truly amazing reads. My current favorite that I highly recommend soon before it moves to Am@zon ebook is Death Dealers saga by wolfjess7. Not D&D fantasy but action packed SciFi with a "Pacific Rim" flavor. Beware, the author is not native English speaker so (with respect and high regard) word usage and spelling are rough. Jessie is re-editing now prior to publishing June 1. If the roughness is bothersome, wait util it is published. Otherwise it is an astounding story.

I also recommend you check out Changes in Paradise by Patricia over on Fictionmania. It is a long, mermaid action/adventure, if you can believe that. It was started years ago, picked up for lots of new content about a year of so ago and has gone dorment again. Still, very enjoyable.

RG Beyers South of Bikini Book I is very good. I have to admit I got a little lost due to the number of characters and time shifts, and I think that is me and not necessarily the author's issue. Anyway RG just now began posting Book III in the series. I plan on giving it another go.

Last recommendation is the White Wolf series by Barbara Allen. At 46 chapters, it also is not finished though it hopefully will be.

Enjoy!

Stories

Sixteen feet of steel by Bailey Summers
Legacy of the Anari by Ashleigh Blaze.is kinda sci-fi But is amazing
Somewhere else entirely by Penny Lane
