From the Guardian - where else? - a transpride march in Brighton. Did you know there's a trans flag? No nor did I. Dunno if I'm getting old, but the fact that it appears most of the population of the earth is now deciding it's transgender is getting a bit passé. Anyway for those who want to read it...

Transvisibility
Thank you for this link Angharad. I've come to believe that the most significant divide in a capitalist world is between those who can earn a living and those who can't. As much of the economy is biased toward the 'beautiful' that works against more women born TG than many other identifiable groups including the GLB. An open-hearted march might humanise some of the less beautiful in the eyes of the public.
I'm not suggesting we tear down capitalism but it was humbling to read through your link the history of Sylvia Rivera

You can thank the Tumblr/SJW twits for that. Truly, 95% of the population is still heterosexual. It is actually a good example of people saying one thing and being/doing something else.
They want a victim complex so that they can feel like special snowflakes, regardless of the fact that it make light of and takes the focus off of the actual problems faced by trans people.
They also do it in relation to mental illness. The number of people on Tumblr who pretend to be autistic or schizophrenia ('headmates' they call the voices in their heads, apparently they are 'multiple systems'.....) is astonishing. And again, they completely forget the fact that real sufferers of these diseases are being taken less seriously as a result, which causes a plethora of negative results.
They d the same for other minorities as well......
It might have been comical, if it wasnt so serious and damaging.
Yes
Yes, I knew there was a flag... I don't like it much, but there is one...
Visibility can be helpful. It can also lead to problems. I hope all turns out well.

To spread the word
Thanks for this piece of news. For something like this to happen and be supported by the police themselves is very good. I wonder in truth how many of the officers really understand or care about the transgender community. Are they only doing this due to the fact they are told to do so or is it really heart felt support?
Regardless, I have copied this link to two of my favorite sites that collect and distribute world news in relation to transsexual news. I post them for any who are interested to look.
