Might have been a temporary glitch
I can use admin masquerade to bookmark and favorite pages as you, so it seems to be working. I did both on Angharad's latest story so those are added to your bookmarks and favorites. If you still have a problem, I'm going to need more info to track it down. Like story you are trying to bookmark, what OS and what browser you are using, etc.
A connection glitch or a hiccough somewhere may have caused a temporary problem.
