Hello All,
I am writing to let you all know that my dear friend and our colleague here at BC, arianrhod, Richard, In San Diego, CA, USA, Has had a stroke and is in the hospital.
We just ended a fairly long telephone conversation and he asked that I let our community know.
Apparently, it happened on Thursday and seems to mostly compromised control of his left lower leg and foot. It took quite some time for him to arrange help and I suspect that he was quite scared. He says not but you know how men are. I would have been frightened to death. At this time, He can speak pretty clearly and his cognitive Processes are clear. As we use to say in the hospital "AOx4". He expects discharge next Thurs. but we shall see.
I suspect cards and or a brief note would be appreciated as would good thoughts, "blue light" and prayers.
