I found this in a Spanish article-
http://pijamasurf.com/2014/04/implantan-vaginas-cultivadas-e...
here is the tranlation.
Four women were implanted with vaginas grown in lab successfully reported yesterday. The vaginas were grown from cells of women and biodegradable structure were made by taking the size and shape suitable for each. Women, teenagers at the time of the operation, now have fully functional sex organs.
The patients, who due to a disorder born with a vagina that was not fully formed, after the operation showed normal levels "desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm," according to Dr Anthony Atala said the School of Medicine of Wake Forest. Patients suffering from a condition called Mayer-Rokitansky Syndrome-Küster-Hauser that affects 1 in 5000 women. They vulva, the outside sex that includes the labia and the clitoris, but could not have sex via penetration or menstruating (menstrual blood accumulated in their abdomens).
The results of the operation will not only allow these women to solve all these physiological problems also released a deep emotional charge.
The technique developed by Atala and his colleagues was first tested on rabbits in the 90 and the biggest challenge was to adjust the level of maturity of the cells to the time when implanted in the body.
Atala surgeons worked with Federico Gómez Hospital in Mexico City, who were important to the success of the operation.
Anecdotally, in the recent film Noah, Darren Aronofsky, Emma Watson's character can not have sex or become pregnant due to an injury in the vagina, but in it lies the possibility of continuing human progeny. Methuselah, a shamanic representation of the biblical character with a magical pass restores the balance of his sexual organ. Today science has managed to do what previously only imagined magically.

'Grow your own'
Before we get ahead of ourselves.
I have little doubt that this technique can eventually be applied to certain T folk. I think they would have to be prepubescent because certain things would have to happen to induce the pelvis to become wider and develop a birth canal.
This was the concept used in "Desert Princess" and "MS Frankenstein".
Lots of problems ahead on this front. It will take about 10 years and champion rich enough to drive the research.

Please do not get your hopes too high...
While this is a medical breakthrough again, I have doubts this will help us in near future. As those article point out, vaginal cells are taken from tissue samples of those women. As vaginas develop in women exclusively (variants in sexual chromosomes not taken into account) this most likely means, the develop only XX genetical people. One could argue now, which of both X-chromosomes encodes the development of vaginas, but looking at XY and men not developing vaginas we clearly see, that either the necessary genom is entirely located on one X chromosome and oppressed by the Y or which might be more likely both X chromosomes encode parts of the development. So I believe it would be rather difficult to grow female organs from male tissue samples.
I would need to do some deeper research on that matter.

Not true
AIS women (and yes they have XY chromosomes) do have vaginas, albeit some times short ones. I bet this technology can benefit them.
How is it not possible just
How is it not possible just to dupe the X chromosome on a male genetic makeup twice? The idea of both X's puts forth the idea of redundancy.
I truly believe the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine could do it given the miraculous other things they've been making there. I believe we'll pull it off in 10 years or less. The question is whether the Vaginal growth material("food" to create it) will be genetically modified stuff that you'd question what disorder your kid would be born with or develop down the road.
