I released But, I'm not a boy two days ago and I already got results. As it sits now, I have the number 1 book in my genre in england.
Thank you UK, I love your muffins and the Union Jack has always been in my top three of favorite flags.
So, I wanted to bask in the glory, if just for a moment. People who know me know I don't normally view things in the positive and for me to do so is a real break from tradition. You think people would be happy for me, but instead I got shit upon. One person is upset that I put the book in the homosexual category, another thinks the reason I'm number 1 is because I'm the only book there (I'm not there are 40 others plus I am in the top 20 in bigger genre categories, but it's better to say I'm number 1 instead of I'm number 18). It get tiresome. I am trying, really I am. I belittle myself enough, I don't need others to do it for me. So here I am wrestling with the idea of posting the whole book, pictures and all, and I get this kind of response. Thanks but no thanks.

Congratulations
Take the number 1 and run with it. Sounds like you're doing great, and good for you on it.
Best of luck,
Titania
Lord, what fools these mortals be!
It's a great book, Katie
And let your illustrator know that I think her drawings are very nice! I think that you will always have those who feel the need to belittle others. Don't let them get to you!

Congratulations! You deserve
Congratulations!
You deserve the success, K.T. You can't please everyone, so try not to worry about it. Keep up the good work.

It sounds like you should work on the natural counterpart book But, I'm Not a Girl before someone else does.
I was thinking about that
I was thinking about that this morning. i don't know if there is a lot of early FTM stuff. One of the things I keep thinking of is that it is quite normal for girls to be masculine at an early age. No one raises an eyebrow if a girl plays war or sports and wears jeans. It's socially acceptable. I would title it, But I'm not a Tomboy.
