I recently posted one of my stories (The Human Cuckoo - Book One) from a trilogy I have published on Kindle, partly as a teaser. The story is complete and standalone.
Since I do not intend to publish the other two stories from the trilogy, I marked it complete and a solo. However, it keeps getting reclassified as a series, which it is not, and I suspect some software is seeing the Book One and automatically assuming there are going to be other books.
Is there any way of preventing this?

If I see something appearing in the Solos with a title containing something like "...Trilogy - Book One" then I know that that does not belong in the Solos.
The title clearly marks it as part of a series, whether the series is posted here or not, it is NOT a standalone story, by our definition here, from the evidence of the title. You say it is published as a teaser. Okay, then again, that is NOT a standalone story, it's a teaser which is automatically part of a series.
You can't have it both ways, the part of the listings above the break are for standalone stories that are not part of any series. This one is part of a series by the definition we use here, by the title, and by your own explanation of why you posted it.
