Well, it seems that whatever we did worked.
I figure that en masse, we represented quite a large volume of stories posted on T Stories.
The board is currently closed until all requested stories have been removed.

Email from T Stories
I too got an email from them this morning in which they pledged to remove all my work from their site.
I can only assume that the others who have had their works posted and complained, threatened or otherwise told them to remove their works, will be afforded the same.

Just a niggling doubt.
I don't seem to have been filched. Mind you DofC is somewhat long drawn out and by the time a lustful predator reached the end he would probably be too old for sexual gratification.
The niggle at the back of my mind is that it is so easy to post under another title (Depredation of Virgin Viagra Vampires)? and then one would never know. I would hate to be sued under legislation governing Misrepresentation! The tstores site is a pretty nasty sewer to wade through on the off chance!

I tried looking this morning, but the message or forum board was closed and until they fire it up again, I don't know what will be there.
Whoever posted our stuff must be way prolific though.

It seems a shame that the site webmaster or owner cannot be hauled over the coals for this.
Still, I don't think that they'll be doing it again.

I have mixed feelings on that.First did the site owner harvest the storys or know of who was and with malicious intent?Is the site owner simply ignorant of the rules of internet posting and copy write law?If it was simple ignorance then I think that a lessen has been well learned.If it was done with knowledge and malicious intent well then they should suffer further penalty.I am trying not to be prejudiced by the fact it is obviously a pornographic site and one that reinforces the pre conceived negative views of TS/Tg people.Amy

I and a lot of others sent messages to the site admin asking that our stories be removed. We'd probably still be waiting for a response if Piper hadn't tracked down the site's ISP and sent them a complaint. Twenty minutes after she did that, I had an email from the site admin promising that my stories would be taken off the site.

They're gone
I just checked the site; their boards are back up but all of the pirated content is gone. Yesterday they had, I would guess, at least a couple of thousand stories there and now they have three.

bad news/ good news?
I sent two e-mails to [email protected], and each time after a very long wait
(hours instead of the usual minute when this happens) I got my correspondence back
with one of those MAILER-DAEMON FAILURE NOTICE things, an automated apology over the fact
that my e-mail couldn't be delivered. That's the bad news, that I couldn't tell them to remove my stories...
But, clicking the link in Scott's first blog about this, I see now their site is now back up. And now
(or at least a while back when I checked) only a very few stories could be found listed. As if---rather
than go thru weeks of people demanding the removal of their tg fiction, as word gets around, or face the wrath of the authorities---the pirates just jettisoned the whole cache of plundered booty. Arrrrr.
I hesitate to rejoice too quickly, assuming that my problem has been solved. I half expect to go back tomorrow or a week from now and see my stories there. I didn't say anything (nevermind that I couldn't because they've changed their address), so Ha Ha. A month from now if I am still not a featured author at their wonderful site (did you see that one chatline offered "taste my poo"? How do they .......... nevermind,
I don't wanna know!), I intend to start to relax about this. Or sooner, if somebody has a clearer idea of what's actually going on. Or even a decent speculation...

I noticed it was up this morning as well.God reading what they have posted made me blush and I'm closer to a sailer than a school girl when it comes to knowing about the world but that stuff geez.You would of thought they could have been nice enough to offer an opology but then again seeing what their peddling makes it seem unlikely.Amy
