I have been having my stories edited by Holly Hart who has stopped editing so I now find myself looking for a editor. I have the first chapter done of a new story that I am writing and at this point need a editor. If anyone would be so kind as to help me out please do so.

Or "the editor" :-) And yes, I'm having a bit of trouble with "a", "an", and "the" use myself, as in my native language there is nothing close to the concept of the article (?).
Anyway, some 15 years ago my main income was from editing, albeit in different language, so if you have trouble finding editor - PM me. Also I can do some second level proofreading as I tend to see spell checker errors (lake using throng fords tat art they worlds by spell checker recon ;-) )
I haven't totally stopped editing, but need to cut back
I need to cur back quite a bit, due to health issues and related real life problems.
As a number of those here know, my pancreatic cancer has flared up again, and my doctors are not hopeful that it can be held in check, or stopped.
I am also working a full forty hour week, which amazes my oncologist, who seems surprised I can even do it. And she has seen me working, as I am doing valet attendant work at the hospital where I am her patient.
I've been a pack rat for years, and now I need to be getting rid of things so it dopes not all fall on my roommate's shoulders when I am no longer here, and to help pay for end of life expenses.
I am doing what I can,and I am not giving up, but I am also looking at what I need to do, just in case.
I've been debating with myself over how and when to open up to more of you in the community, and I've decided this is the time.
