The most recent, ie part 10 are all new episodes which have not been posted anywhere else.
I know this one is not as popular as some of my other stories, but it's still the one I like best. To the other two who will read it, I hope you enjoy it.

A good story...
...and very well written, but I couldn't take what was happening to the main character, sorry but I can't call him Charlotte. When I read the intro bit for chapter six I had to stop.
The intro bit for the remaining chapters has also convinced me that I made the right choice for me to stop reading.
This story has too many of the elements of my childhood that I just can't relive, the pain, humiliation, the bullying, parents that can't understand, being the outsider, friends that turn on you when you need them the most. Well you get the picture.
I'm sure that like my childhood there will also be good that happens to this character as well, but the pain for me is too close.
Please don't take this as a condemnation of this story, it just hits too many sensitive spots for me.
Please keep up your writing as I do like your other stories very much.
hugs,
Arwen
I read every chapter ...
... even though it's painful to me as well. James, now Charlotte, is driven along by circumstance, trying to make the best of a situation she never wanted, while lurking disguised as her best friend is an evil bitch waiting to turn and attack in some insidious way. And SImon? Who knows which side he falls on.
I spend most of my time reading Charlotte's Tale hoping against hope that somehow, things will work out for her. So don't think we readers aren't out here, Angharad. It's just that some people lived a life too close to Charlotte's at one time to another, and it's hard to live through it again vicariously through her -- especially when you write well enough to draw us all it.
*hugs*

I see why you like this one most, Ang.
This is a very up and down emotionally driven story. That's up and down in emotions, not quality.
It is enough real world to seriously push a readers buttons. We have an innocent boy set up by the worst sort of bullies -- hell they broke into his house or at least forced their way in. They con the parents into thinking he did the glue and other feminizing things to hmself. Good boy that he is he gives up protesting after a while as no one listens. The parents make him take an honest unpreasured trial period as a girl while pumping him full of testosterone blockers and weak estrogens. He never gets a change to do this without duress or manipulation of some kind.
Later he realises maybe this is what he/she always wanted, that being a girl will fullfil herlife. She got there by the wrong route but ended up in ther right place in other words. Then Dad dies amd all that. Jane strikes me as manipulative at best, will she prove a true friend in the end or a heartless opportunist?
This is so plausable or at least major parts are that it really gets to the reader. I find it upsetting at times but I am a softey. Do keep writing this and I hope Charlotte gets a happy ending. There must be a reason she was so extreamly slow to develope as a man? Why did they start the hormones on a only a psychs recomnendation without a complete physical exam? My hope is she was intersexed and is a real girl and just needed a jumpstart. Whatever the case this is a wonderful child being dumped on by life, but it happens in the real world, sadly.
A tough read but a good one. At least you have AEAFOAB to keep up your spirits. Maybe Sekhemet could appear here, smite Charlott's foes and heal her into a complet boy or girl.
Keep at it.

Angharad, I Really Feel For Poor Charlotte.
Charlotte has been living life due to events beyond her control. Now she has shown some acceptance of her new role. I hope that she can learn to enjoy life now.
