I don't understand your despair girl ...
I cant understand why you are so despondant and in despair. Truly I have found this site to be essentially a very friendly site. By and large most of us get to rub along though I must confess sometimes we have our upsets. Erin however does an excellent job monitoring the site to remove unwarrented and unasked for cruelties, so I, like the others who've commented, am somewhat confused and ignorant of your reasons for feeling hurt.
I have no idea why you think you're losing friends but I would ask you to reconsider your 'good-bye' and have another go at making friends on this site. You mentioned your choice in friendships and partners and your words peturb me. I hope you haven't entered into some sort of abusive or controlling circumstances where you are the victim suffering the abuse or control. This can happen if you find yourself becoming dependent on other people for such things as care and/or shelter.
Don't allow yourself to be bullied, be yourself, though this might take tact and fortitude if your partner is trying to dissuade you from choosing which sites you wish to visit, or what life-style you prefer to live.
Be resolute girl, but above all else, try and be true to yourself.
I feel so helpless stuck away on another part of the globe and unsable to reach out a helping hanmd.

I don't understand, but I also don't see why you need to go. If you lost friends, I understand that, but there are always more people here. I've lost friends as well as gaining them. Don't leave, as leaving tends to only hurt you.

In my real life am more like Saphira. But a little more severe in my leaving friends, when feeling abandoned, even if it is not really the reality.
Am not of the nature to fight, will more likely try to hide from the issues.

I am just as puzzled.
Speaking for myself, I don't care, that is I don't judge people on who they partner with, who you choose to have in your life. As long as they are who YOU want, that's good enough for me.
Talk with Cat and Randa and see if they can help you work this out. The loss of even one of us, lessens all of us. Going from my own experiences, there are damned few problems that can't be either worked out, or worked around.
If someone has hurt you in any way, let us try to help heal the wound and welcome you back with open arms and hearts.

being fairly new here & not knowing the full story here I feel obligated to say this: Dont run from whatever bully is causing this, stand up to them & we here will help you to let them know that this dont get it. It wont solve a thing by running
I spoke with Saphira
and she says to respect her decision to leave. She isn't doing this to hurt anyone, she has other plans and things to do. She will still talk with those who are her friends but she wants to stay away from BCTS for now.
No one was harassing her, that I directly asked her. She did not want to go into the specific reasons she was leaving.
So, until she returns to us, I give her all my prayers and support. She is a part of us no matter what.

Do what you must girl. Just know that you will be missed by those who know you. So many great authors and good people have gone on over the years and the only problem with that is the Newbies never get to know their works unless they stumble upon them.
We just tend to fade away as we no-longer post frequently enough to keep us in the readers minds. Our stories remain though and when we receive a comment for one of our older works it does bring a smile to our faces and hearts.
Do what you feel you must girl, but remember, this is the Big Closet and we remain family forever.
