- (afternoon) I made the Compressed Titles slightly longer, if it would still fit on one line in the cell, I lengthened it
- (afternoon) I added a colon as separator for Parted stories
- (early evening) I added the latest two stories in a new row
- (early evening) I re-alphabetized for the longer titles
- (early evening) I set the width slightly thinner to a point that it won't interfere with anything set 800 width or more
- (early evening) I added the blurb text under the table
- (mid evening) I added newest story... in under 2 minutes

Gotcha
The resolution at work is larger than mine at home, so I guessed at the exact width. It's currently set to 620, I'll drop it by 5 and see if that fixes it.

Still the same as before. However, I can't guarantee it's the shortcuts that are doing it. It may possibly be one of the new stories, such as the Oliva Twist one? I dunno. FWIW, I'm running a 19" CRT set at 1024x768, and the right side of the screen is cut off just into the "o" of the word "more" under the blog and forums box. Oops, I am also using the theme that makes the home page look like it used to, with all the account and author stuff on the left, and the recent comments and stuff on the right.

So 615 pixels is too wide, but 612 pixels fits. Narrows it down to only 3 possible numbers!

Slow day
I did a bunch of estimates, but only one person actually filed today... durn companies holding onto the W-2s! So I had time to play a bit. :)
Looks fine to me
I've looked with Safari, Firefox and Camino browsers.
I like the colons for parts. It's a good, obvious shorthand.
And the spaces
On either side can be reduced to garner a smidgeon more room if necessary on high posting days. :)
