or: The effects of being "perfectly" gender-neutral
Being "perfectly" gender-neutral, I've realized that I really have no reason to favor one type of gender pronoun over the other. It therefore makes sense to simply go with the way I present offline. I am male born and legally male, and attempting to pass as female with what I have is more trouble than it's worth (in most situations). I am trying to establish a middle ground without utilizing any form of physical female presentation, at least until further notice. There are exceptions in some situations, but it's "practical transvestitism" rather than the result of any need to "let my inner woman out". I would elaborate, but that would be off topic.
How does this affect you? The most obvious effect is that I am now using male pronouns in self reference after having spent over 2 years and 14 weeks in this community using female ones. I might "slip up" and use female ones now and then depending on my gender mood swings, but it probably won't matter.
Ladies (and gents), you really shouldn't feel sad about this at all. I'm really not denying a part of me. Think about it. If I were to go 100% female and "live the dream" as you might put it, would that really bring me any closer to what I'm trying to achieve?
...
Well it MIGHT, on the grounds that females have a bit more freedom to express their "inner man" than vice-versa in our society. I have other plans, however. They'll be brilliant.
Half-sisters and half-brothers- that's how I perceive you (whether or not you were born in the correct bodies) since I'm not technically a brother OR a sister to anyone, and if you're neutral too then it's siblings. Where was I? Ah yes...
Half-sisters and half-brothers and siblings, check out my lovely new signature (not displayed here, but visible in my commentary). It will promptly blast away any negative feeling you may still have about this latest development. ;)

Me too, sometimes
In every test or whatever I come up almost exactly in the center of the spectrum we call gender. I describe myself as a feminine male. I enjoy letting my feminine side out to play, but I steadfastly hold on to my maleness.
My choice of clothes, day to day, is women's masculine cut. It provides me with the best of both worlds. I'm seen as and treated as male while I feel and enjoy the feminine.
Like to day is mid-week service at church. I'll be wearing a woman's oxford cut shirt and a pair of pants I recently bought at Catherine's. No pocket, elastic waist micro-knit acetate. They feel very luxuriously feminine, but the look masculine enough that no one ever notices.
If your interested, I always wear women's underwear (panties, cami and bra w/B cup forms) and women's size 12W penny loafers and a women's Columbia Sportswear jacket. All of this goes unnoticed because of the masculine cut.
Hugs
Patricia

Pronouns
I spent decades dreaming of being referred to by the right pronoun. Still in 'male' mode, I remember a girl friend complaining about something I did but still using 'she' throughout. A Rubicon, a gift, a delight. To people as assured as I am about their gender, it is an absolutely important thing.
If you are using either, or both, and it works for you, feels comfortable, then that is all that matters.
You ARE who you are, not what others think you are...
though going your own way at times aint easy.
But my big question is... does this *rebranding* mean -- BTW that *rebranding* sounds painful. I mean I've seen old westerns where they brand cattle with these red hot irons and... -- In any case, does this mean you've gone of prawns and shrimp and other tasty crustaceans?
If so WEEEEEEE!
More for us.
Um, you didn't hear that last bit, did you?

P.S. Congrads on being who you are and having the guts to do it.

**Sigh**
Sighs are the natural language of the heart.

that you are one great prawn loving member. Being perfectly gender-neutral does fit in very well here. I say: be yourself!
