Some controversial posts on cars were attached to a recent story. I've created this forum for the continuation of that thread if anyone wants to but six posts with no mention of the story and an increasingly belligerent tone suggested to me that I did not want these attached to the story. Tangential discussion on a story is okay, ranting needs to be moved to a forum or blog. :)

Erin
Allow me to say my $.02
In the above mentioned post...
Now you all know why I carry that four pound ball-peen hammer in the loop I welded to my motorcycle. Bikes are Bikes, the only difference is I have a motor on mine, so I'm usually traveling a bit faster than you peddlers. But the dangers are the same for all of us on two wheels.
I'm not advocating the use of hammers on the windows of stupid "cage drivers", (that's what most bikers call cars around here,) All I'm saying is I understand the frustration.
Much love, for those on 2 wheels.
Toni
I love cars and bikes
Toni I hope your not implying that the cyclist that ride between the breakdown lane and the car lane or into the car lane carry hammers.Maybe the car drivers should have cattle scoops on them like trains then we could scoop them gently back over where they belong.Lol Amy Disclaimer: Amy M doesn't advocate the injuring of cyclist or motorcyclist and none were hurt in the testing of the cycler scoop.
My apologys
Sorry if I came off as belligerent that wasn't my intention.I did mention the story at the bottom of the first post. The second post was to inform someone who had responded to first one that they had taken the message of the first post in the wrong way also I did provide a link to the source of my info.So again my apologys Amy
No worries
I unpubbed a few more posts than necessary. probably. My apologies, too.
Hugs,
Erin

nope, not at all...
I agree, there are stupid people who ride bikes, both motorcycles and bicycles, that shouldn't be on 2 wheels. Think of it as another part of Darwinism. In fact, if you go to WWW.Darwinawards.com you should find a couple of stories about people who did just that. There is one of a guy who chose to ride down the center median of a highway, and got plowed by a truck. And another of a couple of guys who were playing "chicken" with stick of lit dynamite while riding motorcycles. That ended all sorty of poorly.
All I was trying to say was that when I'm riding along on the highway, and a car driver tries to put their vehicle in the same spot as my bike, you can expect a broken window on that car. Don't say I didn't warn you all. If it comes down to your window getting broken, or my ass hitting the tarmac, you can COUNT on your window getting busted.
Much love.
Toni
How Is It...?
I seem to have this talent for stirring things up around here. Sorry Erin :)
