Forget the End of the World

Serious business this. Twenty years of Wiggledom.

Now I readily admit these guys are not really in my orbit not having a lot to do with little kiddies.

Yet it's Saturday night here in Sydney and as is often the case the telly is on in the background. It's Carols in the Domain which is an annual thing in a big central public space in the heart of the city. Chockers, (that's full) with a lot of people, some setting up 'camp' over a day earlier and the cops turning people away hours before kick off. It's a fun thing even for a died in the wool cynic with a soft edge.

So yes even I know who the Wiggles are despite not knowing any of their songs, there are limits. But it is impossible to ignore their impact worldwide and acknowledge these guys, especially anyone with young kids. Unless of course you're an NRA official and blind.

So three of the original members are retiring and the new guys just got introduced and yes one of them's... gasp, a girl. Yes I knew this but there she is nice yellow skivvy n all, up there on the stage. Twenty years they've done the Carols thing before they wuz big and still and that will continue so, bring it on kids. I may not get the dinasour thing but I can give a nod when it's due.

Wiggle on guys n gals.

Kristina
